So we have finished off the first week of the July guest blogger extravaganza. We started out with the go-giver himself, Bob Burg. I have to tell you that Bob is the nicest person you will ever meet and someone who truly walks his talk. He is known for his endless referrals process and shared some of his wisdom about maximizing the benefit of introductions on Monday in Your Comfort Will Reflect Their Comfort.
On Tuesday Noeleen McGrath made an excellent point about not “phoning” it in during presentations – because you never know who else the people in the room know. If you do client presentations, you should definitely check out Presenting: You’re Pitching to Everyone They Know Too.
Then we took a break to enjoy the U.S. holiday.
I submitted my contribution to the July event on Thursday. I have heard too many stories recently about consultants having to wait for payment so I shared some tips on how you can try to ensure that you get paid in a timely manner in I’m Your Consultant, Not Your Lender.
I think you will agree that it was a great first week.
We have some pretty fantastic posts scheduled for next week. I hope you will join us. And please tell your colleagues about the guest blogger event on Business Unplugged™. This month we are featuring people you know – as well as people you need to know.
We always strive to give you the information you need to run a successful business.
