Sarah Thompson had a tough year. After a diagnosis of breast cancer, one surgery turned into four surgeries, and ultimately a double mastectomy.
In addition, Sarah was in and out of the hospital during chemo, all the while trying to manage her business working with creatives and entrepreneurs on creating optimal pricing, systems, and financial awareness, maximizing revenue and profit.
She is a former corporate controller and once told me that she dreams in spreadsheets.
We talked about the challenges of running a business during a major health crisis, and what small business owners should do to prepare themselves in case they can’t work for several months.
